Final tournament:
Preliminary round and playoffs will be organized based on regular season standings and the official schedule.
Each match consists of 4 singles sets (S), 4 doubles sets (D), and 4 triples sets (T).
Each set is played to 50 points or a maximum of 12 throws per player/team. The winner of the set is the player/team
with the higher score. In case of a tie, the set ends in a draw. A set win earns 2 points, a draw earns 1 point, and a loss earns 0 points. Each match is played for a total of 24 points, known as the score. Each team may field 3 to 8 players from its roster.
A single player may play a maximum of 2 singles sets, 3 doubles sets, and 4 triples sets per match.
Substitutions during a set are not allowed.
The match is played on two lanes: 4 singles and 4 doubles sets are played simultaneously, followed by 4 triples sets — totaling 12 sets. Estimated match duration: 100–120 minutes. Match sheets are provided.
Match points: Win: 3 points, Draw: 2 points, Loss: 1 point, Forfeit/no-show: 0 points
Regular season standings are determined by: 1. Total match points, 2. Score difference, 3. Head-to-head result
In the final tournament, if a match ends in a 12:12 draw, the winner is determined by a Mölkk-out (6-4-12-10-8 format) played by triples. The order is: A1 vs B1B2 → A2A3 vs B3. The starting team is determined by a draw.
Rules:
Matches are primarily played on courts in Bratislava (by mutual agreement, matches may also be played outside of Bratislava), in accordance with I.M.O. rules (particularly foot faults, player order, the 37-point rule, etc.).
Court dimensions are approximately 4 × 10 meters, with a throwing distance of 3.5 meters.
The home team, according to the schedule, is responsible for organizing the match:
-
selecting the location and playing surface (excluding concrete or asphalt),
-
providing 2 official Mölkky sets (Tactic brand),
-
and submitting a match report signed by both team captains to the competition manager (by email after the match).
All team members must wear matching uniforms / same color T-shirts.
¹ An exception applies to the court in Lesopark Vrakuňa, which is smaller.
