Applications must include names and surnames of players, e-mail and mobile phone number
of the team's captain.

A team is considered to be three players (+ 1 optional substitute)
National Mölkky associations (federations) are allowed to register a maximum of
2 representative national teams ("A" and "B") and one representative team of juniors (under
age of 18). Each team must have at least one woman (or at least one man in a team
composed mainly of women). A team may register with one optional substitute so that all
matches are played by this team with players of both sexes. Priority is given to those who
have registered earlier.
The tournament is organized as part of a project "Mölkky Mania in BSK 2026" co-financed
by the Bratislava Self-Governing Region from the Bratislava Regional Subsidy Scheme - calls
for support of sports (area of support: organization of sports events).

The best 3 teams will receive a tournament trophy, resp. cup, medals and awards (prizes).
Participants under the age of 18 will receive a gift for their participation. All participants will
receive a commemorative item - a badge.
Surface: clay; field dimensions: 4 × 10 m; distance: 3.5 m; throwing area defined
by "Mölkkaari".

The game is played according to the rules of I.M.O.
All sets of the tournament except 5th decisive sets in the semi-final matches, final match and
the match for 3rd place in the play-off are played for a maximum of 15 throws (each team).
If no team finishes the set within 15 throws, the team with the higher number of points wins
the set. In case of a tie, each team throws one extra throw. The player whose turn it is throws.
Whichever team rolls the higher value (it does not matter if it exceeds 50) will score one
extra point and win the set.
Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited on the fields!
In the first phase of the MMC 2026 tournament, the teams will be assigned to four groups
of four couples each. In the primary group, the couples will play each other for two sets. The
group ranking will be determined by a) number of sets won, b) the point difference, c)
mutual match, d) number of matches won, e) mölkk-out. The best 2 teams from each group
advance to the "Play-off", the others play a "Last Chance" tournament. All "Play-off" and
"Last Chance" matches are played best of 3. Semi-finals, final and the 3rd place "Play-off"
match are played best of 5 without limit on the number of throws in a deciding set (up to 50
points). Elimination matches are played for all placings. In the case of a deciding set, the
couple with the better score from the first two (four) sets starts. Draw will be published
online and will be sent via e-mail to captains of all teams.

Teams will judge the game themselves, only in case of disputes will the couple captains contact
the tournament's head referee. Only the semi-final and final matches are officiated
by the referee.
Results are recorded by the couple captains themselves. At the end of each game, the captains
sign the completed protocol and the captain of the winning team gives it to the person
in charge. The team captains are responsible for the correct protocol.
Can be raised within 5 minutes of the end of the game for a fee of 5 €. The fee is payable
at the time of submitting the protest to the tournament organizing committee and
is in the case of a negative decision non-refundable. The Organizing Committee of the MMC
2026 tournament will decide on the outcome of the protest within 20 minutes and its decision
is final and cannot be appealed.
There is a restaurant in the area with tennis courts: www.tenispatronka.sk. A buffet with draft
drinks will be open. A lunchtime menu will be available on the terrace next to the buffet.
Interest in this type of meal must be reported in advance when filling out the registration form;
price: 15 EUR/person; it will be paid in cash upon presentation with subsequent issuance of
a lunch ticket. Another restaurant Patrónsky pivovar (www.patronskypivovar.sk) is only 500 m
away from the tournament venue.
